I spent years working at university sports centres, and every single day I witnessed the same frustrations. Staff members struggling with clunky, outdated software that seemed designed to make their jobs harder, not easier.

The existing systems were expensive, difficult to use, and required extensive training. Simple tasks that you would expect to be easy, were not. Sometimes even impossible. I watched talented staff waste hours on administrative work that should have taken minutes.

But the worst part? These legacy systems were holding entire sports centres back from reaching their full potential.

At one of the places I worked, we had payment processing issues that weren't resolved by the software management company for more than half a year. The non-existent support, and the software cluttered with bugs and missing features made it clear that sports centres deserve better.

The technology exists to make management seamless, intuitive, and even enjoyable. Why should sports centres be stuck with software that feels like it's from the 1990s?

I realised that the problem wasn't just the software - it was the entire approach. Legacy providers were focused on features, not on the people who actually used their systems every day.

I decided to build the solution myself. Not just another management system, but a platform designed from the ground up with the end user in mind. Entirely on the web - no more clunky desktop software.
